Everyday Legends wins Best in Show at the 2024 ADDY Awards.

PROCTORS THEATRE, SCHENECTADY, NY: The Capital Region Advertising Federation held their annual award ceremony, adjudicated by a nationwide panel of independent judges, as part of the American Advertising Federation. The event offers ad agencies, design firms, freelancers, in-house marketing departments, and students the opportunity to submit work in a variety of categories.

The Best in Show honor, or The Betsy—named after advertising professional Betsy Comstock—was awarded to a campaign created for Granite Peak, a ski resort in Wausau WI. The ‘Everyday Legends’ series was filmed on location, and celebrates the sport at an approachable level: making it to the lodgewith all of the family equipment, dedication to early morning starts, or weekend warriors who can’t quite forget their bygone days on the race team.

“ The series did a really nice job connecting with more people than just elite skiers, and it looked really good too.” — Judge Courtney Carroway, Creative Director, Agency 29, Rochester, NY

“ It was a unique choice to focus on the visitors, rather than the destination. After watching the first one, I was hooked, I wanted to see who the next legend was going to be. This made everyday people believe they could be legends.” — Judge Nathan Linder, Creative Lead, Adams Advertising, Bethlehem, PA

“ We chose the ‘Everyday Legends’ campaign because it did a great job of nailing the different personas, identifying a pain point, but also turning that person into the hero of the story.” — Judge Bill Kenney, CEO, Focus Lab, Savannah, GA

The campaign was awarded a Gold ADDY in addition to the Best in Show designation. Trampoline also won two Silver ADDYs for packaging design: Paradox Brewery Specialty Label Series and for art direction: Snowriver Resort PowderHounds promotion.
